For example, on the morning this was written, our four guests from Hawaii enjoyed: •orange juice •freshly ground coffee or cappuccino, or a selection of fine black, green and herbal teas including locally blended Silk Road black and herbal teas •a fruit plate with seasonal soft fruits and berries; today including local raspberries, melons, kiwi and also bananas •strawberry fool (a tangy yet smooth English treat) •baked eggs, one of Linda's specialities: freshly laid eggs baked with a blend of Swiss cheeses, succulent Black Forest ham, fresh Roma tomatoes and locally grown asparagus (or other seasonal vegetables) •muffins straight from the oven, with home-made preserves •one of these guests had a special diet to which we catered accordingly (though we can not provide for vegan diets).
