Whether you are walking, cycling, rambling, bird watching, touring, sight seeing, having a relaxing break, trip on the Newhaven to Dieppe ferry, visiting the newly designated Southdown’s National Park or the beautiful Seven Sisters and the Seven Sisters Country Park; the Silverdale Guesthouse is a great base from which to enjoy the whole area. The Silverdale Guesthouse Bed and Breakfast in Seaford is near Newhaven, Brighton and Eastbourne and is a great base from which to tour and enjoy England! The Silverdale Bed and Breakfast Guesthouse is renowned for being dog friendly, but whether or not you have a dog; we welcome walkers, cyclists, bird watchers, singles, couples, families or groups (weddings, funerals etc), people travelling on the ferry from Newhaven to Dieppe or people just looking to enjoy relaxing in a bed and breakfast or guest house in Seaford, East Sussex. FULL VEGETARIAN BREAKFAST:- Two veggie sausages, a local free range egg, fresh griddled tomato, tasty pan fried fresh mushrooms and Heinz baked beans. FULL VEGAN BREAKFAST:- Two vegan sausages, fresh griddled tomatoes, tasty pan fried fresh mushrooms and heinz baked beans. COELIAC BREAKFAST:- A lovely farm fresh free range griddled egg, best English unsmoked lean back bacon, fresh griddled tomatoes, tasty pan fried fresh mushrooms. SCRAMBLED EGGS:- Free range eggs, lightly seasoned and scrambled; served with bread or toast of your choice. BOILED EGGS:- Two almost perfectly cooked (well, no-one's perfect!) farm fresh, free range boiled eggs. Served with either bread and butter or toast. KIPPERS:- Kipper fillets, served with buttered brown bread. PORRIDGE:- Freshly made porridge creamy and satisfying. MUESLI:- Fruity and nutty. CROISSANTS:- Warm and crumbly croissants served with a selection of toppings. YOGHURTS:- A variety of yogurts – low fat, creamy, Soya etc. FRUIT:- Fruit platter for you to choose from. Prunes, in natural juice - (stone in). Grapefruit in natural juice. OUR DRINKS:- Fresh cafetiere coffee - full caffeine or caffeine free. A selection of black teas, fruit and herbal teas. Hot Chocolate. Fruit juice selection. Milk - warm or cold. All our eggs are free range and we use high quality breakfast products in order to give you a breakfast to remember for all the right reasons! Guest Amenities: About The Silverdale B&B Guest House The Silverdale is a Four bedroom Guest House run by Louise and Norman Mayhew with their two sons Connor and Sully in the centre of the Edwardian town of Seaford. We are inspected by Enjoy England (formerly English Tourist Board) to a very high standard and have a four star rating. We like to feel we offer a 'home from home' atmosphere with comfortable accommodation whilst giving a professional and friendly service where nothing is too much trouble. We are, all the time, thinking of ways that we can improve our guests' stay with us and striving to enhance their comfort. Whilst we do not offer evening meals, we can recommend some excellent local restaurants, many of which are dog friendly and are within walking distance of the guest house. If you do not wish to take your dog, Connor and Sully offer a dog sitting service where they will sit in your room and keep your dog company, whilst you go out safe in the knowledge that your dog/dogs are not alone and they are being well looked after. Alternatively, if you do not fancy going out to a restaurant but want to stay in the guest house, we are happy for you to get a take away to enjoy in the comfort of your room. We will give you crockery, cutlery and trays. The mini bar in your room is well stocked if you fancy a cool drink with your meal. We may welcome you as a stranger but we hope that you go home as a friend.
